Linkedin est le réseau Professionnel numéro un au monde. Mais comment optimiser correctement son profil Linkedin?
Être trouvé sur Linkedin, où vous assurer que les gens vous répondent quand vous les contactez, dépend grandement de la qualité de votre Profil !
Vous devez prendre le temps de remplir votre Profil correctement, avec un maximum d’informations pertinentes selon vos besoins.
En effet, vous n’allez pas écrire le même type de résumé selon que vous soyez à la recherche d’un emploi ou commercial à la recherche de prospects par exemple.
Avant de commencer l’optimisation de Linkedin
D’abord désactivez vos « diffusions d’activité », pour ne pas spammer votre réseau avec chaque changement que vous allez faire.
Pour cela direction Préférences et confidentialités → Activer/Désactiver vos diffusions d’activité
Juste avant votre dernière modification de profil, réactivez la « diffusions d’activité », pour que Linkedin prévienne automatiquement vos contacts que votre profil à été mis à jour.
1. Optimiser la photo de votre profil Linkedin
La photo de profil est très importante pour accrocher vos contacts sur Linkedin.
Voici quelques règles à respecter pour la photo de votre profil Linkedin :
– Utiliser une photo au rendu professionnel. (Pas d’image pixelisée, de vous avec votre conjoint, de vous en train de faire la fête, etc.) – N’hésitez pas à faire appel à un photographe professionnel.
– N’ajoutez pas de logo sur le Profil Personnel, gardez-le pour votre Page Entreprise Linkedin
– Choisissez un cadrage approprié afin que votre visage soit reconnaissable dans les petites versions de votre photo, .
2. Choisir le Titre Pro de votre profil Linkedin
Le titre professionnel de votre profil Linkedin est un élément très important :
– Il apparaît dans les recherches
– Les mots-clefs que vous allez y mettre y ont légèrement plus de poids qu’ailleurs sur votre Profil.
Vous disposez de 110 caractères pour vous décrire, alors essayez de donner envie d’en savoir plus.
Indiquer également votre région et votre secteur d’activité.
3. Utiliser des Mots-clefs sur votre profil Linkadin
Pour être trouvé avec le moteur de recherche de Linkedin, vous devez insérer des mots-clefs sur votre profil de la même manière que vous le feriez pour Google.
Ajoutez des mots clés aussi dans votre Résumé, votre Expérience, et dans vos compétences et centres d’intérêt.
Il ne s’agit pas d’y mettre 50 mots-clefs différents, mais d’en choisir 3-4 qui définissent votre activité et d’être sûr qu’ils soient présents dans chaque section.
Exemple :
J’ai fait une recherche sur les « Community Manager » de 2e niveau de mon réseau.
La première personne qui est ressortie avait le mot Community Manager indiqué 26 fois sur son profil ! La seconde ne l’avait « que » 10 fois et la troisième 8 fois.
4. Ajouter des images dans le résumé de votre profil Linkedin
Saviez-vous qu’il est possible d’ajouter des images, des vidéos, des documents ou des présentations dans votre résumé ?
Comme vous pouvez vous en douter, ajouter des images augmente l’attrait de votre profil !
N’hésitez pas à présenter vos projets, livres, vidéos, présentations (slideshare) ou photos de vous en action.
5. Améliorez le texte de votre résumé de profil Linkadin
Ajoutez des images et ajoutez des mots-clefs OK, mais encore faut-il avoir un résumé qui claque !
Et si jamais vous n’aviez pas encore écrit de résumé, Shame on you ! Vous devez avoir un résumé sur Linkedin, après la photo et le titre c’est ce que les gens vont regarder en premier !
N’allez pas faire un simple copié collé de votre lettre de motivation/CV ou de votre Biographie. Écrivez un texte pour Linkedin.
J’espère que vous êtes doué en story telling, c’est le moment de nous raconter vos exploits de carrière ! En restant bien sûr toujours en rapport avec votre activité. Et n’oubliez pas d’y inclure vos mots-clefs.
6. Optimiser la section Expérience de votre Profil Linkedin
La partie Expérience est évidemment très importante !
Indiquez votre poste actuel et les anciens et pour rendre votre profil plus attractif, n’hésitez pas à ajouter des images/documents/vidéos, etc.
Surtout, pensez à lier votre expérience avec l’entreprise concernée si elle à une Page Linkedin, cela ajoutera le logo de l’entreprise sur votre Profil.
Bien sûr, ajoutez un maximum de mots-clefs dans cette section, en partie dans le titre du Poste.
7. Obtenir des recommandations sur votre profil Linkedin
Enfin, point hautement important. Faites vous recommander !
Il y en a deux types :
– Avoir vos compétences recommandées
– Avoir des recommandations écrites
Les deux cas de figure sont importants ! Avoir de nombreuses recommandations pour vos compétences améliore fortement votre crédibilité et la confiance qu’inspire votre Profil.
Bien entendu, cela sous-entend d’ajouter vos compétences sur votre profil ! Sinon votre réseau ne pourra pas vous recommander.
À noter que le texte présent dans les recommandations écrites peut influencer les résultats de recherches si des mots-clefs y sont présents.
Si vous souhaitez avoir plus de recommandations une bonne méthode est de commencer par en donner !
8. Partagez vos nouveaux contenus sur Linkedin
Bien que cela n’améliore pas directement votre Profil, le fait de partager des informations avec votre réseau augmentera les chances que votre profil soit découvert par d’autres personnes.
Cela peut être des articles de votre propre blog si vous en avez-un ou des actualités importantes liées à votre secteur d’activités.
Linkedin va d’ailleurs bientôt proposer la possibilité d’ajouter des articles entiers au sein de sa propre plateforme, plutôt intéressants pour démontrer votre expertise.
Autres conseils :
– Assurez-vous d’utiliser votre véritable identité, pas de pseudo ou blague dont vous êtes la seule personne qui peut la comprendre.
– Rejoignez des groupes pertinents pour votre activité (et participez-y tant qu’à faire)
– Agrandissez votre réseau ! Plus vous aurez de contacts, plus vous ressortirez facilement dans les recherches des réseaux de vos contacts. Et vos actualités seront également beaucoup plus lues et partagées !
